Copic Coloring Contest

My first new coloring project in a very long time!!  Entered in the Copic Fall Coloring Contest.  See the blog for Copic Markers for details on how tho enter!!  Have a happy Halloween!!

LOVE YOU A LATTE CARD AND ENVELOPE

 This card was so much fun to make, I just had to share it.  First I cut out the coffee bag, scoop, and cup using the I Love You A Latte digital cartridge and the Word Collage Digital Phrases cartridge. I used the Expression 2 machine with Craft Room.   I then ran the coffee bag thru the Big Kick using the Candy Lynn  Burlap Embossing plate.  Before running it thru the machine to emboss it, I inked the plate with Memento Cocoa Brown Ink.
This process not only embossed the paper but also added texture with the ink accents. I also used the My Creative Time  You are Perk-fect stamp set.

For the envelope, I used a large enough envelope and distressed ti with 3 colors of Memento inks.

More Valentine Cards

For these I used the Cricut Victorian Romance cartridge and Craft Room  to cut out the balloons.  I love the layering aspect of Cricut Craft Room, the layers are cut to fit with very little effort.  This program is dowloaded for free from Provo Craft onto the computer and connected by printer cable to cut on the Cricut Expression Machine. The images were cut on white cardstock and printed on my Cricut Imagine Machine. The window and underlay were cut using my new Spellbinders Grand Calibur Machine and the Nestabilities Lacey Ovales die.  I composed the sentiment myself, printed it on pink cardstock and then cut it out using the die in the machine.  The window on the second card was finished with acetate to create a window.

VALENTINE CARDS 2012

This year I am getting an early start of Valentine Cards.  I composed the sentiment myself and printed it off of my computer and  cut it using the Stamping up punch.  The window and boy picture were cut with my Sizzix oval die.  I colored the Magnolia stamp image with Copic Markers. Not sure if the paper is from Stamping Up or Close to My Heart.  It was part of my paper stash.

NEW CLASSES FORMING FOR BEGINNERS AND ACCOMPLISHED SCRAPBOOKERS

New classes are forming in Cornville for adults and children (over 10)  in the lastest techniques in scrapbooking and card making.  Lots of fun projects in store.  All supplies provided.  Three hour class/crop for $25.00.

Saturday Class at the Prescott Hobby Lobby

Thanks to those who attended the class.  I really enjoyed spending time with you.  Hope you learned a bunch and are ready for class next Saturday at the same place from 10 to 1.

COPIC CREATE A BOOK CLASS WITH JENNIFER DOVE THIS WEEKEND

Sadly, the weekend is over but the memories will be etched in my memory forever.  The entire experience can be summed up in one word; awesome!
Jennifer is as nice in person as she is on her blog.  She is extremely talented and I was fortunate to have been at her retreat.
I am now anxious to get started sharing the knowledge she passed on to me and 37 other fabulous ladies!!
I will start by scheduling class at the Hobby Lobby store in Prescott Valley on Saturday October 29th and Saturday November 5th.
